Learn more than the drill
- Position coaching connects physical technique with understanding the game.
- Film study helps athletes examine the decisions behind a play.
- Practice gives them a way to work on those details between sessions.
Christophe Mulumba and the Linebacker Prototype coaching team teach athletes the details of playing linebacker. CoachIQ gives their training content a home: a Players Portal with position-specific drills and programs athletes can return to beyond coached sessions.

Christophe Mulumba · Founder, Linebacker PrototypeA place for the coaching to continue beyond a single session.
Linebacker Prototype combines position coaching, film study, and mentorship. Its CoachIQ content includes an introductory course, giving the academy a place to organise learning alongside the work athletes do with their coaches.
The Players Portal includes linebacker drill and speed programs. Warm-up routines and game-speed lessons give athletes specific material to revisit as they work on their technique.
Video analysis has also been part of the academy’s work in CoachIQ. Alongside its training programs, that gives the coaching team another way to work with the details athletes are learning on the field.
Meet founder Christophe Mulumba and linebacker coach Nicholas Melsbach.
For a position-focused academy, the training experience is bigger than a session on the field. The lesson, the drill, and the film all have a role. Linebacker Prototype uses CoachIQ to house training programs and support video analysis, while Christophe and his team bring the football knowledge.
See how training programs and video analysis could support the athletes you coach.
