Mike Glennon Basketball builds around the booking journey

Private training, groups, camps, and team programs brought different demands to Mike Glennon Basketball. During his CoachIQ setup in spring 2026, Mike focused on how families would move from choosing a program to paying and booking a session.
Connecting the work behind the training
In April, Mike described using SimplyBook for training bookings, Wix for team registration, and Google Forms and Sheets to manage information. Payments also came through different channels. Keeping the pieces organized involved regular manual work.
His training hours depended on access to shared community facilities. The booking setup needed to reflect the court time he could actually offer.
Giving each program a clear next step
During his May setup calls, Mike worked through products, Credits, subscriptions, and Schedulers. He wanted options for athletes buying ongoing training and families looking for a single session.
Fix My Jumper provided a concrete example. Mike wanted families to select a session as part of the purchase process. He and the CoachIQ team worked through linking the website offering to its Scheduler and checking the flow with and without Credits.
Knowing who will be on the court
Mike also raised a question familiar to coaches working with families: when a parent books, how does the coach know which athlete is attending?
He wanted to collect athlete names, ages, and schools alongside parent information, while avoiding unnecessary repeat questions. Those requirements shaped his discussions about forms and the Athlete Portal.
The setup work illustrates a useful starting point for a training business: map each program's purchase and booking steps, then identify the information the coach needs before the session begins.
